Kaunas University of Technology together with foreign partners is implementing the EU-funded project “SusRur – Towards SUStainability and resilient scenarios for tourism SMEs in RUral & Remote Areas”.<\/p>\n\n

Applications are invited for the SUSRUR project open call OC#3 COLLABORATE, which is open to businesses (SMEs – small and medium-sized enterprises) in the tourism sector from five rural and remote areas in Europe. The project involves regions from 5 countries: Asturia (Spain); West Macedonia (Greece); Hargita (Romania); Utena County (Lithuania)<\/strong>; Steirisches Vulkanland (Austria). <\/p>\n\n

Open Call #3 aims to <\/strong>develop management skills and capacities to improve the performance of SMEs in the digital and sustainable transformation.<\/p>\n\n

The grant is awarded to up to 50 tourism SMEs that aim to implement sustainable and innovative practices in their tourism business. Each selected participant can receive a grant of \u20ac6,000<\/strong> to be used to improve the sustainability of their business by choosing two consultancy services<\/strong> from the following: <\/p>\n\n

  1. Digital marketing plan;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Sustainability Action Plan;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Circular economy technologies and innovation in rural tourism SMEs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Clean energy technologies and innovation in rural tourism SMEs;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Digitalisation technologies and innovation in rural tourism SMEs (excluding digital marketing).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    The deadline for applications is 12 February 2025 at 17:00 (CET) (18:00 Lithuanian time). <\/p>\n\n
