The Utena Business Information Centre participates in the project implemented by Kaunas University of Technology together with the National Network of Green Municipalities, which aims to develop the sustainability of the business of the tourism sector in the Utena region. Participants from Asturias (Spain), West Macedonia (Greece), Hargita (Romania) and Steirisches Vulkanland are sharing good practices. (Austria). As a participant of the Good Practice Participant status, the centre shares good practices about the residents of the creative industries centre Taurapilis, who use various equipment, internet and other support of the centre for the development of creative and business processes, as well as about the free services provided to the residents of BC Spiečius and the common working area (24/7). They also share their experience of contributing to climate change mitigation through the installation of a 54 kW solar photovoltaic power plant, an electric car charging station and the purchase of an electric car.
