TO WORK ON THE PROGRAMME, A YOUNG PERSON MUST:

  • declare your place of residence in the territory of Utena District Municipality;
  • study in a primary, secondary or vocational education programme at an educational institution registered in the territory of the municipality of Utena district;
  • be at least 14 years old on your first day of work and not older than 17 years (inclusive).

FIVE STEPS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE:

  • Register at https://utenosvic.lt/darbas/;
  • Find an advert that suits you, marked “Summer jobs for young people”, and click apply;
  • Participate in a job interview;
  • Sign a tripartite agreement with your employer;
  • Tripartite agreement (3 copies) from 13 May to be delivered to the Public Enterprise Utena Business Information Centre (Aušros g. 47, Utena, 2nd floor).

FIVE STEPS FOR EMPLOYERS:

  • Register at https://utenosvic.lt/darbas/;
  • Place an advert, ticking “Summer Youth Jobs”;
  • Choose from young people who have applied in the system;
  • Call the young person for a job interview;
  • Conclude a tripartite agreement (3 copies).

EMPLOYERS’ REPORTING TO THE UTENOS BUSINESS INFORMATION CENTRE PROCEDURE:

Documentation at the end of the employment contract:

  • Performance report;
  • Copy of the timesheet;
  • Copies of documents proving payment of wages;
  • The employer must provide a copy of the employment contract within 5 working days of the date of signing the contract.
