“The Department of Drugs, Tobacco and Alcohol Control (hereinafter referred to as “DATAC”), in pursuit of the objectives of alcohol prevention, smooth implementation of the Alcohol Control Act and promotion of conscious and responsible business development, 2024 m. 12 June 10 am. organises a training course for newcomers “Starting a business in the alcohol trade. What do I need to know?”.
New entrants are defined as newly established businesses, natural persons who have registered a sole proprietorship or have acquired a business licence. Newcomer status shall last for 12 months from the date of registration in the Register or from the date of commencement of the activities related to the marketing, advertising or other activities related to alcohol products.
During the training, the NTAKD specialists will introduce the status of a newcomer, discuss the requirements for activities related to the sale of alcoholic beverages, as well as introduce the participants to the main laws regulating the above-mentioned activities, the accompanying legal acts and the recommendations that will help to ensure the effective compliance with the requirements of the Law on Alcohol Control. At the end of the training, participants will be able to ask additional questions.
